Question / Help Question Regarding Window Capture

Whenever i try to use the new window capture feature in 0.5.1, my stream freezes and lags like crazy. This never happens when i use display capture. Should i lower my video bit-rate? Sorry if the answer is painfully obvious, but i am fairly new to streaming.
