Question / Help Question: How to switch to scene and play audio&show animation.

I am using OBS for training purposes. My current project is using the virtual cam addon which allows OBS to be used inside other applications like Skype or WebEx.

My goal is to create several scenes that have animations that play a sound when the scene is switched. A good example of what I'm after would be if I asked a virtual class a question, and one person gets the correct answer I want to switch to Scene 2 which would be a GIF of fire with the text "That's Correct" and have an audio file say "That's Correct, great job" or something to that effect. Also have a scene 3 which would be if they were to answer incorrectly with a GIF of "Almost, try again" and some audio that plays "You can do it!".
My dilemma has been trying to get audio to play in OBS. I have recorded the audio or ripped it from other sources into a .wav file. I can easily use the image source to load in a GIF of the desired text or image, but when I use a media source to load in my .wav files it's not playing. I'm thinking I might not even have to add a media source if there was some way to cause the audio to play when switching to a specific scene.

What would be the easiest way to go about triggering a sound to play when going to a specific scene for different online classes. I would only be going to these scenes to increase engagement with my class and would only be switching to them for a few seconds then going back to the main scene. Any help would be appreciated, thank you, everyone, for reading and helping me along this great and powerful tool!
