I'm trying to use HID Macros to map hotkeys to a separate keypad in OBS. For example, I want to use the 1 key on the keypad to send Ctrl + Shift + 1, and then set that key combo in OBS to start recording. The hotkey works fine so long as the OBS window is active, but if the OBS window isn't active, the hotkey will not do anything. If I manually key in the combination, OBS will start recording even if the window isn't active.
So my question is, has anyone found a way (whether it's with HID Macros or some other way) to have hotkeys work regardless of if OBS is active or not?
