question about which mac version

On the opening page, OBS asks us to choose a version of Mac between macOS (Intel) and macOS (Apple Silicon). How do I know which to choose? My Mac version is 10.15.7 Catalina. Thanks.

On your Mac, go to the Apple Menu (upper left corner) and click "About this Mac". In the popup window note the Chip or Processor name. Chips named Apple M1 through M4 are Apple Silicon. Others will show some form of the Intel processor.
