Question / Help Question about PC Build

Hi Everyone,

New to OBS and setting up a stream if possible.
Am currently looking at a new PC but was wondering if the FX-8350 along with 8-16g RAM will work or should I go with an Intel CPU, would mostly be streaming console games so the PC will just be doing the OBS side not really gaming.

Any suggestions for a GPU would be great also.

Any and all suggestions will be great as am new to this.

As of right now I can't recommend ANY of AMD CPUs they are all to slow or expensive. If you wait a couple months for Zen that might be a different story and Intels prices might drop too. But if your building now I'd recommend an intel a i7-6700K is really good but quite expensive. An i5-6600K is also pretty good. You can go for an even cheaper i5 but live video encoding takes a lot of CPU power, so investing in an i7-6700K is probably a good idea.

As for GPU, if you are on console then you don't need a great one.

In my opinion the best deals for GPUs are the RX470 and the GTX1060. But if you don't game on your pc at all you don't need anything near this good.

Keep in mind this is just my opinion.
