Question / Help Question about dumb

Every time I click "Check for Updates", it doesn't do anything. I should probably take this to mean that there are no updates, but it doesn't tell me otherwise.

I am not sure the auto-update mechanism works in the Linux build. (I could be wrong, though.)

I regularly check for new versions at the official download page:
