Hello , i have one problem . While am using classic x264 mode and when i set my bitrate to 1900 it is using that rate maybe sometimes it goes a bit up , but when i set 1900 bitrate while using AMD Video encoder engine and set constant bitrate it starts wasting my bitrate , it is going up to 2900 - 3000 bitrate during stream and because my upload speed is only 3 mbs it is impossible for me to stream .... And it is easier for me to use AMD instead of x264 because am using single PC with i5 2500 k ..... Am not good with obs settings so any help would be appreciated and am sorry ... Thank you

I have seen few posts saying vce is not suitable for stream at all. Only for recording. Most stable data rate is always with x264. You can try QSV on your igpu but in my tests I ran into same problem with it as you with vce, however I was trying to check if qsv will fit in 15% difference between max upload and stream bitrate. It should be ok with 20%. But don't trust hardware encoders when it comes to streaming and monitor your vods for a while to be sure. You may find my signature helpful when trying to test it

Thanks my friend. Am checking what you told me , and am going to make test in upcoming days ....

The good situation to test it is to find dark or completely black spot in game and look at it for a few seconds, then suddenly and fast turn around and look at scene full of bright detais. This is when bitrate skyrockets and likes to hit max upload speed with hardware encoders.

I got mine working good without losing any frame using the CQP function, but I really don't know how it works for streaming, you got to try, i'm pretty sure you can make vce handle the stream right as some other programs uses it. And yeah, the x264 encoder is the most stable one, but also the one that will drain the most of your system, so it depends on what you are doing if you can use it or no. Good luck!
