Quality not changing after I turn the bitrate up.

So I recently just started streaming and I didn't see this until just recently. I was watching one of my streams back and noticed the quality looked very poor. I looked more into it and realized I needed to turn my bitrate up. After I turned it up I proceeded to make a private stream just to check to see if the quality looked better, but when I watched the stream I saw the quality hardly changed if not at all. I watched plenty of videos on the BEST streaming settings for OBS and I have a fairly beefy computer and know that it can handle a large load, but here I am now I have run out of ideas and cannot think of any other type of solution.

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...
