Hi there.
I have just recently got a new PC hoping I could improve my stream quality.
Unfortunately, it is actually quite the opposite. No matter was settings I use, the stream turns out blurry and pixelated.
I ultimately wanted to use a second PC with i7 2600K and GTX 1060 6GB to stream over NDI, but this also gives the same bad quality, although before this PC and i5 4200H laptop with x264 and very fast@ 720p 30 fps gave much better quality.
It appears in the preview window (on a streaming PC), that the NDI signal quality is somewhat poor, although it is set to HIGH bandwidth.
Both machines over ethernet 1 gbit.
Tried to stream only from the gaming PC, the quality is bad as well.
The new PC specs:
i7 10700K
RTX 3070
16 GB RAM
It gives high framerate in all games I tried.
Tried disabling/enabling game mode in windows, disabling xbox bar.
Feels like everything else in the background is kinda choppy as the game runs, like it is using all the resources or something.
Tried NVENC (NEW) and x264 encoding options (the only two I got) and both give very blurry/pixelated results, although the stream is smooth. Did it with 720@60, 1080@60, 720@30, always 6000 bitrate. Same poor results in terms of quality.
Got any ideas how to get this fixed? Thanks
