Question / Help Quality is still bad :(

Hey guys,

I have recently upgraded my computer drastically. I used to stream just fine and the quality was very good.
I've used the same settings than I did with my old PC but the quality seems terrible.
I have tested this by recording it.

Specs:
Motherboard - MSI Z97
CPU - Intel Core i7-4790K
Graphics Card - NVIDIA GTX 970
Memory - HyperX FURY 16GB
Hard Drive - SanDisk SSD Ultra II 480GB

Settings:

Output:
Video Bitrate - 3500
Encoder - Software (x264)
Encoder Preset - superfast

Video:
Base Resolution - 1920x1080
Output Resolution - 1920x1080
Downscale Filter - Lanczos
Common FPS - 30

Here is my last log:

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks guys.

Thing is, surely my specs can handle streaming at 1080p?
Considering I used to on my older PC.
What would you suggest to do IF I kept it at 1080p?

Post a log where you are actually trying to stream something. Your log doesn't contain a streaming session.

Also according to your posted log you have it set to downscale to 720p. Not 1080p, and considering you're not partnered with Twitch, assuming that is where you are streamin, you shouldn't go 1080p anyway with that bitrate.

Also. You said the quality used to be great yet a thread less than a month ago you posted with your old setup and said the quality was also horrible then?

How do I set the downscale to 1080p?
And yes, I had issues and changing the bitrate and playing with the settings fixed this completely. Hence why the post was weeks ago.

I've down scaled my stream resolution which has helped.
But what blows my mind is that there are streamers out there that are not partnered, which specs not as good as mine, with perfect 1080p/60fps streams that look beautiful.
So my thinking is if I have better specs, I MUST be able to do the same without any issues.

I really admire your enthusiasm to invent wheel again but 1080p60 requires 13k bitrate to look acceptable. not possible on twitch with 3,5k unless its no-motion card game or some low motion strategy/isometric game which makes 60fps questionable for them anyway. wow can be considered medium motion game if you dont have a habit to move camera constatnly around. anything else will look like crap

Okay no worries, that's fair enough.
I'm currently streaming 3500 bitrate with 30 fps, downscaled to 1280x720.
Which is TONS better. But still not perfect which is irritating.
It's just frustrating that I see people with gorgeous looking streams with terrible rigs haha
I do apologise for my ignorance and if I've come across like a twat.
And I really do appreciate all your replies, suggestions and help!
