Question / Help Push To Talk Issue

When I use a push to talk setting for recording, there is a crackling noise/feedback noise. When I do not have push to talk on, there is no such noise. Help plox

I fixed this exact issue by going into Settings > Audio and then changing the Push To Talk delay on my mic to 50 ms. No idea why that worked (it actually makes no sense that it would) but now I get no crackling at all when using PTT in OBS.
