Hi All,

I've installed OBS Studio 64-bit and have 3 x monitors with a total resolution of 5760 x 1200. All I want to do is to be able to stream with 1920 x 1080 but cannot see a way of scaling or stretching / moving the window to enable this without bars on the top and bottom of the preview. Can anyone help?

Thanks
Daz

5760x1200 is a very uncommon resolution with a very uncommon aspect ratio of 48:10 and much wider than the usual 16:9 aspect ratio with 1920x1080. To fit this into the media players of everyone who has a 16:9 aspect ratio monitor (about 90% of all your viewers), and without distorting the image, black bars are added.

To stream without black bars, you have to play and capture your game with a 16:9 aspect ratio resolution. You cannot use all 3 monitors in combination and at the same time stream this with 16:9 aspect ratio. You can perhaps pick the middle monitor, but you will never be able to show all 3 without having black bars added.

I assume you're driving all 3 as a combined surround monitor?

Hold alt while dragging the red bounding box to crop sources. Alternatively, you can right-click and select edit transform, then manually enter your crop values in the bottom section.

Or, you could even go a step further and add a filter on the source for pad/crop. Then the source would be cropped across any scene you want to include it in.

Thanks very much. I'll give that a go. What should my canvas size be set to? I get very confused with this sort of thing!
