Question / Help PS4 STREAM NOT WORKING BUT XBOX ONE IS FINE HELP!

OBS Studio works fine with my Xbox One, shows the picture smoothly, however when I move over to my PS4 the picture becomes very laggy and un streamable, please help as I really want to stream off my PS4, I am using a Roxio Game Capture HD if that helps.

Sony and Playstation in general use a type of HMDI encoding.. You might need to get a splitter that will in essence remove the encoding prior to getting to the capture card.

Xbox and Wii do not use encoding.

Go to PS4 settings, system, turn of HDCP to allow capture.

Go to PS4 settings, sound and screen, video output, change resolution to maybe 720p. PS4 may detect limits and use 1080i by default when TV or capture card support 720p and 1080i but not 1080p. 1080i may cause lag and horizontal lines.

Xbox one cannot output 1080i so Xbox one may use 720p if TV or capture card don't support 1080p.

EDIT: One more to add, do not plug your PS4 into xbox one's hdmi in, that will cause major lag for PS4 gaming.
