Question / Help PS4 razer ripsaw

Hello,

Yesterday I tried to set up this capture card without success. I followed the guidline how to (usb3, hdcp disabled cable management, razer synapse,..), but unfortunatly in obs preview I get black screen. I only could manage to get the console display in obs preview if set to 1080i which is terrible. If set back to 1080p black again..

Does somebody know what the problem could be?

I would like to record or stream my ps4 gameplay, throught this capture card with my pc.

PC:
AMD FX-8320 3.50GHz AM3+ BOX
ASROCK 990FX Extreme3
KINGSTON 8GB HyperX DDR3 1600MHz CL9 KIT KHX1600C9D3K2/8G
SAPPHIRE 11199-19-20G HD7870 2GB GDDR5 OC GHZ EDITION PCIE

have you tried removing the HDCP on your console? I did that with my ripsaw and it works as intended.

Hello CMS86,
Yes that was the 1st thing I did with the console even before plugging on the ripsaw. I still couldnt find any soluation why this happening to me. Black screen in obs/xsplit.. :(

another obvious step but one we over look, do your HDMI cables work independently?

Unfortunatly I am at work right now, but I can tell you that my ps4 is connected on the ripsaw and the hdmi cable that I receveid with the capture card is connected from the ripsaw to my monitor (asus vx239h) and I get skyclear picture with them so I guess they are working.

Hello SogeHige, thank you but already tried that also :( same thing.. I will try to upload a log this evening when I get home, maybe someone will see the error.
