Question / Help PS4 + Elgato HD60 + OBS quality question?

Hi,

iam fully new with streaming. I bought elgato hd 60 and i'm using Mac, but running parallels with windows 10 to run OBS properly. OBS is not working with OSx in the right form and i don't want to use crutches to make it work with window capture or whatever.

So i installed everything and set it up. My picture on preview is fine and all is working. But quality differs when i watch my stream via other computer just to check and from viewers point. Some of them got lag, some of them bad picture quality.
As far as I'm noob maybe you could help me to set everything. I made 720/30 with 2000 bit rate. What should i look for to improve?

First I would eliminate parallels and try booting into windows directly and see if that fixes your issue

Second, Have you run a test of your internet speed with something like speedtest.net? I know when I stream at 720p and 30FPS I have my bit rate set at 3500.

Side note, when you are streaming what do your system resources look like? I.E. processor and ram usage? Running windows in virtualization can be very taxing on the system resources as they are not directly dedicated to one operating system and instead shared.
