Question / Help PS4 Audio and OBS (Really weird situation)

Hello all,

I'll try and keep this as short and concise as I possibly can. So I have my ps4 hooked up with the Elgato HD60 Pro (PCI slotted) and I have of course, a set of desktop speakers. I for the life of me, cannot get my PS4 to output audio through my desktop speakers UNLESS OBS Studio is open. My desktop speakers are plugged into the mobo in the (green plugin) and my PS4 is hooked up via HDMI if that helps at all.

I think it has something to do with the Elgato, but I cannot pin point it. Hoping someone else has had this issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tried optical cables, uninstalling, reinstalling. I think it has to do with the elgato for sure. As soon as I close obs, the audio cuts off. But once I reopen it, it's detected through the elgato the audio comes back through my desktop speakers. Just to add to the list.
