Bug Report Progressive Audio Delay While Streaming PC Game Using Window Capture

Today I suddenly encountered an issue. When I started streaming my game audio was in sync, but over time it progressively became more and more delayed, up to 5 seconds after about 20 minutes of game play. I have never had this issue before, and I have streamed hundreds of hours of PC games on this setup with these settings. I updated OBS in hopes of solving the issue, but to no avail. I am not sure if others are having this issue, or just me, but it is making it impossible for me to stream.

I am streaming Destiny 2 from a single PC using window capture.

I confirm this. My description of the issue would look exactly like OP have said.
But I will add the fact that in my case microphone's audio is fine. Audio desync happens only for desktop audio.
Also, level meters in OBS Studio show me properly synced signal while it is still out of sync in recorded/streamed data.
