Hi all.
I don't even know if it is the appropriate forum and/or OBS is the appropriate platform in order to build what I've drawn.
I just want to create a windows (or Linux) application that will display 2...3 realtime videolive windows, very small in resolution (let's say a maximum of 800x600 each), without sound (no audio at all), but it has to work inside an existing application written by me (in C and Java).
My application is directed toward the realtime automated process control field, I just have to live monitor two or three production phases within a major application that commands automated devices.
Yesterday I tried to configure and obtain a videolive stream from a single USB boroscope into the OBS Studio window (exactly the camera that I need to interface into my app) and it immediately worked flawlessly.
I just thought about OBS because I already have (and use) it for my video hobby and, as far as i know, it comes with APIs, but I've just read about OBS API availability, never downloaded or tried to install them.
I normally develop programs in C and Java languages since many years ago. Today I use Eclipse IDEs for both.
May anybody help me suggesting what I've to download and install in order to try to develop this particular interface? or -maybe- give me a suggestion about the usage of another environment? Is OBS suitable for this kind of applications?
thank you in advance.
