Hey there,
I've just installed and configured obs (the latest version) to record and put some shotcurt keys. The problem is on change between scenes and start a media. For example: my first scene is a video. And i press the shotcurt that i've put and didn't start as i want. Any ideas about what should i do to solve this?
Thank you very much guys.

This behavior would be changed only in new release. It will be possible to always enable hotkeys even if Scenes/Sources pane is in focus (https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/commit/051c58eeb737e6fc79a5721ab4a74a6ee8260c40). By now - just click at Preview to make sure that Scenes list not in focus.

If your application (game) is require admin rights, then you need to run OBS Studio as administrator too (right-click over the OBS desktop icon), otherwise - hotkeys will be ignored by OBS Studio.

Hey, Thank you for answer me.
I'm using to record some classes, not to stream.. But i'll try to do this.. You're telling me that maybe i need to run obs as administrator mode? And that this only will be corrected in the new version from OBS?

Administrator mode required if application, that is captured, running at higher privileges than capturing application (common behavior). And this would be changed.

Changes only when Scenes list pane is in focus - previously, hotkeys always were disabled if any scene were highlighted (otherwise if you began to rename it and typed the letter that is hotkey - the event assigned to this hotkey can be triggered), now it is configurable parameter (to disable hotkeys or not when Scenes or Sources list pane is in focus).

I understanding your problem that you hit hotkey - and the scene not switch. Is this your issue?

Then just click once in the Preview area; run OBS Studio as administrator (if required), and hotkeys should work as intended (standard keyboard, no macros etc.).

If you already running the application (that you want to capture) with administrator privileges (or application elevates its rights itself) then it is not a big deal. Are you sure that you can capture all the stuff you need? Because, in most cases, when your application, that you trying to capture, require higher access rights than OBS Studio - you'll just get a black screen in your video and errors in the log-file of OBS Studio itself. Sometimes the log-file is very useful to resolve the problems.
