So the probal I am having is when I try to record, stream, or even preview with my live gamer extreme capture card, obs will freeze. Xsplit works fine, but I have all my scenes set up in OBS and would rather not have to set up xsplit if I dont have too. Anyone else have a solution?

or can anyone explain to me why this is happening on obs and not on xsplit?

Make sure you update your capture card drivers, and for Avermedia I know they have a Stream Engine Driver make sure you have and use that.

I did. What actually got it somewhat stable for me so far is resetting the driver to the first windows 10 compatible driver. So far been streaming for a few hours and it's been stable.
