Question / Help Problems with audio when importing recordings to sony vegas

I'm looking for help with and issue I'm having an issue with sony vegas showing no audio track for my recorded files in obs studio. Yes they have audio because when I play them in VLC everything is fine. I'm recording as mp4 using the AMD Video Coding Engine H.264 Encoder. I never used to have this problem however once I got obs studio I decided to change my encoder to the one mentioned earlier. Is there anyway to get sony vegas to work correctly with videos that are recorded with the AMD encoder?

Also what version of Vegas are you using as there were some problems with version 12 which are fixed so long as you apply all the latest patches

An OBS log? I'm not sure how that is going to help there is no issue with OBS or the video playback. Its strictly with vegas not recognizing the audio of my recordings. To test I even downloaded the trial of camtasia video editor and the audio of my recordings play back fine inside of camtasia...
