Question / Help Problems on PS4 Streaming

Hello everybody,

hopefully you can help me. I'm out of any ideas.
I'm trying to implement a PS4 Stream for a female buddy. Problem is the CPU is hitting the 100% mark and is lagging on stream.
Unfortunally its a quite old CPU & Notebook at all.

Here some details.

• CPU: Intel Core i5-460M
• GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT420M
• RAM: 4 GB DDR3
• Game Capture Card: Elgato Game Capture HD
• Operating System: Windows 8 32bit
• Software: OBS Studio 32bit
  
• Platform: Twitch
• Internet Connection: Down: 50mb .. Up: 10mb

Do you have any ideas which settings I can try on OBS or any tips would be really helpful.

I'm not sure if that CPU/GPU is going to cut it. You can try to stream and then see how the system holds up, maybe shoot us a log so we can analyze it. If the laptop is doing absolutely nothing else, then maybe you have a shot at it working, but my guess is it'll have issues. She'd probably be better off using the PS4's built-in streaming option until she has a decent computer to do the capture card and overlay stuff that you can do with OBS.

Also, it's usually easier to troubleshoot directly with the person setting up or running the stream. If you're going to be doing all of the setup and troubleshooting, cool. If your female buddy will be the one doing the setup, please have them come here directly so that we don't lose anything in translation, in a manner of speaking.
