Question / Help Problem with Update for Universal C Runtime in Windows when installing OBS

When I try to install OBS, I get an error msg that I'm missing Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable [64 bit] - vc2017redist_x64.exe and would I like to download it. I said yes, downloaded and installed it.

I tried to also download the Universal C Runtime update - chose Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit - and it won't download - help!!

Hmm, that latter one would likely fix it - make sure you don't have adblock or an anti-popup system enabled that would block the download. If that doesn't help, try in a different browser.

Also, please try running Windows Update and make sure your PC has no pending updates.

Thank you WizardCM. I ran Windows Update and everything worked properly following that :)
