Problem with screen capture

Product worked perfectly fine up until the latest update. Now when I start a screen recording, record my video and then stop it, it doesn't fully stop the recording, it's only paused I guess, which is fine, but then I'll bring it to a full stop. Once I do, I check my saved video file and it's missing all of my video after about a minute or so in and then it freezes. My videos are being recorded, but for some reason it seems like somewhere along the line the software decided to just stop compiling the video to file and causes a damaged / incomplete video file with audio.
