Problem with new mic

So I just bought my first real mic (yeti nano) and was going to use to record vids. But when I did a test recording, it picked nothing up. Curiously though the audio mixer was pulsing in red as if it was recording sound. Also I was able to record my voice with my headset mic before I got the new one. Any suggestions?

The same thing has been reported with a media source: The audio mixer will show it’s playing but no sound. I recently fixed that, so this solution should solve your problem. Very simple: Right click on the mic in the audio mixer. Select “Advanced audio properties” in the menu it brings up. It will bring up a mini audio settings screen. Where it says “Monitor off”, (something like that), change that to “Monitor and Output”. That should fix it. Hope this helped, and if not please reply.
