Question / Help Problem detecting Avermedia Extremecap Capture Card

Hi there guys

Me and my girlfriend are trying to do a dual stream setup. We are capturing 2 ps4's at the same time but only showing one display on screen at a time then we can swap them over when we need to. We both have Avermedia Extremecap U3 Capture Cards but in OBS it only detects one of the cards at a time. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

This is a limitation of the Avermedia capture card itself. You should get an HDMI switcher instead as a workaround to using two cards.

We have 2 separate hdmi splitters connected, they are going to 2 separate usb 3.0 ports on the pc so we thought they should be able to do the job. OBS detects that there is 2 separate capture devices but for some reason it just won't display both of them

You mean two separate capture cards? Capture cards are not splitters. Can you post a log?

The capture cards will both work separately, but when we use both, one freezes then looses signal
