I recently got a newish laptop and an Avermedia Live Gamer Portable 2 and the past few days i have been trying to learn how to use it, etc.
I've noticed that my preview screen is super laggy constantly. Ive tested this on both a Wii U and a Nintendo Switch. When i try to record, the audio is out of sync and the video freezes, jumps, and skips like a scratched dvd. I've messed around with the settings, and a few times managed to bring it down somewhat, but it never stays that way for long. The strange part is, i've done a test stream, and twitch says i have no dropped frames. The quality is fine and the synching problems in preview or record didn't happen in my test stream
I've included a log file of my most recent recording attempt.
I've enabled buffering, tried adding video delay, lowering my resolution settings. Im not looking for maximum recording ability, i just want to stream a few games here or there and so far its nothing but headaches....
