I'm running Debian bullseye and have a USB 3.0 capture card. The input is a Raspberry PI @ 1280x720 resolution. In the preview I see the window multiple times and mirrored. Is there a way to fix this?
If it is also happening in Windows I would say it is safe to say that the capture card exposes a wrong format when trying to capture. E.g. width and height and or color format does not match with what the card actually returns. So the card manufacturer may offer a fix.
