Preview is not working, neither is anything when recording, except text.

I've tried so many things in the past three days, watched so many tutorials. Nothing is working.
Below there are images of how the situation looks (I'm aware no source is selected or anything, but it doesn't change if I click on them, it continues like that).

obswhitescreen.png
, then if i try enable preview it shows this:
obsenable.png
, after this if I click, that preview zone kinda freezes and the button gets cut in half, and it's not clickable a second time.

When I record the screen, with, let's say, a Text and any form of image or screen capture, only the text appears (And yeah, I'm sure it's nothing to do with the priority or whatever, the text isn't covering the image, it still just a black screen recording if I delete the text.

Yes, I've changed it between power saving and high performance, put it at High Priority, uninstalled and installed again, clicked on the little eye icon, tried launching it as Administrator, and the multiple other obvious ones. I may not be good with computers but I've tried the basics.

My laptop specifics are:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz
RAM 4.00 GB
238 GB SSD XrayDisk 256GB SSD
NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M (979 MB), Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 (32 MB)

No idea if it's too much or too little info on the specs, sorry.

Please, someone help, I've been trying for days.

Just writing here to say I'm having the same issue and nothing seems to fix it. Display capture won't work, and the only fix people keep posting is the one you mentioned with the high performance graphics card setting which still didn't work. I don't know if OBS doesn't work on Windows 10 or what...
