So basically just having obs on my second screen with the preview on is creating this annoying lag effect on my main monitor. It's very noticeable when moving thing around, but after i disable the preview, everything works great

This started when i upgraded my GTX 970 into 1070 ti, so i'm thinking it has to have something to do with this.

Do you have a dual monitor setup with different refreshrates on both?
If so, this is normal, as Windows is not handling two different refreshrates well, as soon as GPU accelerated footage is opened on both monitors (works fine with a game on the gaming monitor as long, as no video or gpu accelerated window is active on the second monitor).
I'm only wondering, why this was not occuring with the GTX970.

And check if multi adapter compatibility for your game source is activated. If it is, turn it off (as this can have similar influence on your game).
