Question / Help Preview Console Source Intermittent Hitching

Using obs studio with a avermedia u3 extremecap external cap device - as per thread title. The hitching does not occur with a pc source (avermedia hd capture device) within studio. Nor does it occur in classic obs with same console source selected. Specific to obs studio when attempting to source through the avermedia U3 device. Both firmware and drivers are updated on the U3 device.

You're using original OBS, This forum is for studio. I suggest upgrading to studio to see if that solves it, or post this in the original obs part of the forum

did i attach the wrong error log (fixed)? console games are not affected in obs classic, only in studio. both classic and studio have no issues with pc device capture. to be clear, this only occurs in obs studio. sorry for the confusion.
