As the title says, when I choose to use game capture the game feels normal but when I look at the OBS preview or watch the recording it looks like this:

I would really appreciate the help, thank you.

This is probably needed so here are my cpu and gpu:

Ryzen 7 3700X
RX 5700

This has happened with every game I have tested so far, thought that might be important so I'm mentioning it now

1. In Windows 10 versions 1809 and newer, we recommend that "Game Mode" be enabled for maximum gaming performance. Game Mode can be enabled via the Windows 10 "Settings" app, under Gaming > Game Mode.
2. Display and Game Capture Sources interfere with each other. Never put them in the same scene.
3. Multiple Game Capture sources are usually not needed, and can sometimes interfere with each other. You can use the same Game Capture for all your games! If you change games often, try out the hotkey mode, which lets you press a key to select your active game. If you play games in fullscreen, use 'Capture any fullscreen application' mode.
4. Pleas be aware that having the YUV Color range set to "Full" will cause playback issues in certain browsers and on various video platforms. Shadows, highlights and color will look off. In OBS, go to "Settings -> Advanced" and set "YUV Color Range" back to "Partial".

I believe this is a problem on some systems with DX12 games (specifically). Does this frames-out-of-order glitching occur with any DX11 games on your system?

How did I not think about that!! I think that might be it as I tested it on GTA V with DX11 and there was no glitching. Any idea how to fix it? The only option that shows up in OBS is DX11 and that's it. Thank you so much by the way!

Unfortunately I'm not sure there is one... last time it came up, the answer was 'run the game in DX11 mode for the time being' if memory serves, but as CP2077 doesn't have a DX11 mode, that isn't an option in this case. Last I'd heard @R1CH said they were aware of it quite a few months ago (I want to say over a year), but I've not heard anything since. That said, I haven't really been following it closely so there very well may be a Github issue already open for it with additional progress information.

this usually happens when you game fps is way to high, and causes obs to lag, try vsync, or set your fps to the same as obs, or test which highest fps that doesn't mass with obs, or set you obs priority to high, or lower game graphics, and make sure to use game capture if your already using it

or start obs as admin
