I am running OBS on a Macbook Pro 2013 with a Blackmagic mini capture box attached via lightning cable, problem is I can't get the output to 1280 wide-screen it has a black bar down the right hand side, tried changing the settings in the output still same, it is like that in preview also, can't find a setting to change preview so wondering if that is where my problem is, any ideas? Thanks.

This is getting farcical, log over 15k doesn't accept word, what's the best way of posting, all I want to know is why I can't get a full preview window, using black magic Ultrastudio mini recorder that outputs 1080p.
OBS will only see it as 856 resolution, even though it's set to 720p.

Hi again, apologies for the frustrated twatitude but been trying to fix this for a year on and off.
As you will see I trued dropping the resolution to see if that fixed it but no.
I am wondering if the issue is with the camera and mini studio setup, that said I dont see why as it is outputting 1080p regardless off the camera settings, I usually run at 720p from the camera as nothing needs to be high res.

OBS has a built-in function that uploads the log and provides a link. Upload log doesn't mean paste it in the forum.

Thanks Narcogen, so I need to reduce the GPU usage by whatever means, what I dont get is why the lower re (585) doesent preview or stream 16:9 but looks about 12:9 with 20% of it on the right being a black strip and it is stuck to the left hand edge so I cant even shuffle it to the middle.
I have tried lower resolutions that are 16:9 but is makes no difference.
Stumped. going up to the office now to have another go, Im going to try a different camera for a start.
