Presentation Clicker Issue

Hello,

I'm running a PowerPoint presentation where the presenter is using a clicker. The issue I'm having is that I can't control the Broadcaster with my mouse at the same time. Can anyone please advise?

What's it doing? Or not doing?

A lot of PowerPoint clickers are just keyboards with very few keys (universal compatibility), and of course the keys that they have are the ones that PPT uses to advance the slides. I wouldn't be surprised to see a clicker that emulates a mouse too, because PPT also responds to a mouse-click on the slide.

For someone else who might read this, the "clicker is a keyboard" idea also means that you can use one to trigger hotkeys in OBS...

Actually, a Clicker is a handheld device.

Like I said, most of those things are keyboards and possibly mice, as far as the computer knows. So don't think of them as anything different from that. You didn't plug in a specialized device. You plugged in a keyboard. Period. Or you plugged in a mouse. Period. Now think through what that means...
