It depends on your use case as to use Full screen vs Windowed slide show
Then, if you want PPT's presenter mode, it is a whole lot easier to pull off with OBS is you are setup with dual monitors

Having videos in the PowerPoint is understandable but not ideal with OBS (and something I'd recommend against if practical), as doing so involves rendering video in PPTx and capturing that, vs simply playing the video straight from OBS (much cleaner)
