Question / Help Possible to separate Discord and game audio?

Maybe this has been explained already, or maybe I'm just too dumb to figure it out, but unfortunately after extensive Google Fu, I just can't make it work.

Essentially, I'm trying to do as the title says: separate Discord chat from my game audio so that they are their own tracks and I can edit each individually. I know how to make additional channels in OBS, but because I generally have both my game and Discord audio going through to my headphones, they get recorded onto a single track.

I've been told I can separate them by using Voicemeeter, and I saw this thread which talks about splitting and excluding separate tracks but, again, just can't seem to figure out how to make each of the sources their own track so that I can manipulate their audios levels individually within Premiere Pro.
