Try uninstalling Windows Update KB3176938.
It was added on 9/1/2016.
I've read that it helped one user fix his OBS problem, and I've been able to stream for a about 25 minutes without crashing, when it usually crashes anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes in.
Also, if it works for you, please do not forget to return here and report your results. Too many times a thread maker finds the answer to his problems and forgets to post about it, so others are still left in the dark.
