Hello,
It's been years I suspect OBS from having a weird bug when using several combinations of the same BASE key, like :
- A
- SHIFT+A
- CTRL+A
- ALT+A
- SHIFT+CTRL+A
- CTRL+ALT+A
- SHIFT+ALT+A
- CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+A
I my mind, it was clear years ago that CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+A would not work if any other combination like CTRL+ALT+A or SHIFT+ALT+A was used anywhere else in OBS. But yesterday, I encountered a problem by using the plugin Advanced Scene Switcher in combination with Autohotkey to perform a macro that makes the windowed projector to open and close by the use of a key.
Instead of a long explanation, I propose you a video that I made : https://youtu.be/iro70cxOcUU
It's quite long (40mn) but I chaptered it so you can go directly at those :
- Real test
- Changing the keys
- Second test
- and the following if you can...
Finally the problem disappeared, at my great surprise (while I spent hours yesterday confirming it), but you need to see when OBS is bugging even if Autohotkey is disabled. There's clearly a butg from OBS alone at 19:50.
Could a dev just take a look at it and confirm ?
