Question / Help (Possible Bug) VLC Video Source doesn't support Alpha channel.

I have been fiddling with transparent videos that show up on a timer in my stream. Three different videos, each 10 seconds long, have to be played one after the other. These animations have no backgrounds (transparent) and are rendered as such when added as a direct Media Source. But since I want them in a playlist, I have to use the VLC Video Source.

Thing is, the files that work perfectly when added directly (.mov, .avi) get black backgrounds when using this source. Is this a bug, a flaw on VLC's part or a flaw on OBS's part?

That's so strange, just saw a video (July 2016) in which it did work. Strange for support to be withdrawn. Thanks anyway. Any alternatives?

I know that, and as described, that worked just fine. But I need a playlist of transparent videos. Right now, I'm using the Advanced Scene Switcher plugin to switch between scenes that are identical, except they have the different videos in them. Either the videos are triggered when the scene is switched to, or I pad them with a few minutes of nothing so that, if I ever have to switch out of one of the video scenes, it doesn't get triggered instantly when I get back and it just loops in the background.
