Possible bug in video encoder

Have been messing with video encoders and have discovered that if my recording is in AVC, I can record in multiple audio tracks, but when in HEVC, the tracks become compressed into one track in the final product even though you can still select to record in multiple tracks.

unsure if it is a bug with the encoder as I don't know if that encoder allows for multiple tracks in the first place, but regardless, if it is not able, I suggest that you remove the multiple audio track suggestion from the settings when that encoder is selected to prevent confusion from users.

Audio and video are independent from each other, so choosing one codec for video doesn't determine how many tracks can be used for audio. The container format defines how many audio tracks can be stored.

It would make a lot more sense that whatever you are using to check these tracks has poor support for HEVC or requires additional configuration. Open the video in VLC and check the audio menu at the top to confirm all audio tracks are there.
