So I noticed something the other night my twitch alerts were not working.. well they were just no sound via the browser source.
The only thing I changed recently is to make my default audio sound device in windows a VAC and have that pipe audio to my sound card. so that I could have the audio from games/applications on one device for recording and then have foobar pipe audio directly to the sound card.
But in doing so at least in the 64 bit version there is no audio from the browsersource when a alert goes off if i switch the default back to my sound card in windows and then test it works. OR if I start the 32bit version of obs with default audio device as the VAC everything works as I expect it to
One VAC configured as default windows device to accept sound and send it to my Sound Card(Xonar DX if it matters)
OBS 64bit
Desktop Audio: Speakers(SoundCard aka Xonar)
Desktop Audio 2: Speakers(Headset USB for Voice Chat)
Mic 1: Yeti
Mic 2: VAC(Default in windows)
The above setup causes no sound from the browser source. But sound from games etc work.
OBS 64bit
Desktop Audio: Speakers(SoundCard aka Xonar)(Default in windows)
Desktop Audio 2: Speakers(Headset USB for Voice Chat)
Mic 1: Yeti
The above setup sound works
OBS 32bit
Desktop Audio: Speakers(SoundCard aka Xonar)
Desktop Audio 2: Speakers(Headset USB for Voice Chat)
Mic 1: Yeti
Mic 2: VAC(Default in windows)
Sound Works here also
So Any ideas? Suggestions?
