Popup dialogs not recorded in display capture

Hi all,

I'm trying to record a software training but for some reason many pop up dialogs are not recorded. I've made sure that I am recording in display capture but the window just doesn't appear in the recorded image.
I've tried to see if I could record this pop up dialog only and, although I can target it for the window capture mode and OBS reacts by cropping the recording boundaries to this window only, it only records what is behind the dialog window. If I move this dialog on the desktop, the cropped area follows it perfectly but still only recording the background.

I'm a bit lost here and would greatly appreciate help if someone have an idea.

The computer is not connected to internet and runs Windows 7.

I encountered the same problem as you. Did you find a solution to it yet? It seems like there is nothing to be found on the internet.

Hi!

Unfortunately no :( I ended up having to edit any dynamic part manually after recordings...

Maybe try again and it may catch someone's attention this time :)

Encountered same issue. Attempting to record a pop-up error message, when inputting trades orders that fail to execute, for the software IT department. This image is a camera shot. The "error" message will not record when I'm recording what happens upon submitting order. Guess I should NOT expect any assistance from the creators...or anyone else for that matter.
