This sounds mundane, you get pops on disconnect, but something that's really important that's easy to miss is when bitrates drop drastically lower. This can be caused by a lot of issues, but demands the streamers attention when it happens. User configurable setting for either below threshold or a % of overall bitrate should pop a notification to alert the user.
Very basic, but definitely needed for all sorts of weird issues! Actually sort of surprised this isn't in the client yet after all these years.
