Pop/Crackle Sounds At The Start Of Recording

Hello,

I recently purchased a new computer about 4 months ago and have been using it to record videos for Youtube. Everything was working fine until around December when all of a sudden, there were some audio crackles/pop sounds at the beginning of nearly all my videos. This issue exists when I record on multiple recording programs (OBS, Adobe voiceover, Sound Recorder on Windows).

The sound eventually goes away roughly 3-5 minutes into the video and I'm at my wit's end trying to figure out what the issue is. I've spent a good 30-40 hours trying to troubleshoot this issue but I've had zero success removing the crackles at the start of all my recordings.

Note that I have zero problems with my microphone when I'm on Discord or other chatting mediums and it ONLY happens when I record my voice.

I've had remote computer technicians check out my PC for any issues but they weren't able to find any problems. I've monitored my CPU to see if any overheating occurs at the start of recording but couldn't find anything obvious there either.

What could be the main issue with the sporadic pop/click sounds that occur only at the beginning of my videos. The popping has gotten a little worse recently as I had an entire 1.5 second portion of my audio go silent due to this issue.

Since it's just not OBS, make sure Audio Enhancements & Spacial Sound are disabled.

Set-up is pretty good but I noticed a few things.

Disable this, it's not needed & you'll save some resources.

Your mic is being captured twice, once as a global device & the other as a source. Not too sure about that but I do recommend to avoid using Global & Source Audio concurrently. One or the other but not both.

Most of your Scenes are bugged with multiple Display, Game &/or Window Captures. Only (1) per Scene to avoid interference.

Update. Still having the audio crackling issues but it you can now hear them across the entire video at random intervals.

Note that this ONLY happens when I'm recording my audio and not when I'm on Discord or any other communication mediums.

I was checking the load on my computer but nothing felt out of the ordinary. Could general static electricity in the air be a reason for this issue as I live in a very dry area during the winter? Could an unstable internet connection cause this?

I'm trying to get to the root of the issue. The BIG note is that it only happens when I record my voice but not when I use the mic to chat.

someone has already suggested making sure the audio enhancements and spatial sound settings, have you confirmed they are off?

I don't even see an option for audio enhancements for my microphone. I believe they are off for my general audio.
