Hello. Faced the problem of low performance of the video card encoder when broadcasting to YouTube after replacing the video card from GTX1080 to RTX3070.
I use the upscaling feature and set up OBS Studio so that the native resolution of 2560x1440 is upscaled to 3840x2160 at 60 fps and sent to YouTube at a bitrate of 35000. This allows the viewer to get a very clear picture compared to the "native" 1440p.
When the GTX1080 video card was installed, there were no problems, but now the encoder, according to the afterburner, is loaded by 99% and the frame skip reaches 96%. In the "native" resolution of 1440p without upscaling, the load on the encoder is 50-70%. Is that how it should be? After all, the RTX3070 is about 2 times faster than the GTX1080! Tell me, please, where to look to defeat this problem? Thank you !
PS: Driver v.531.61
