I posted this topic a couple weeks ago but didn't get a conclusive answer and I'm still having the same problems. On my streaming PC, I have my capture card (Avermedia Live Gamer Extreme), two webcams, and two USB headsets. When I tell OBS to "capture audio only" from the capture card, there is no audio being displayed, recorded or transmitted at all that corresponds to the game being played, it's only the headsets that are showing audio input. When I set it to "Output desktop audio" I then get good quality audio from the game that I'm capturing. I know this because when I plug my headphones in to my laptop, the audio has good bass, good mids and good highs. It sounds like the game should sound. However, when I listen to the audio on my stream, or in the recordings that I post to Youtube, the audio is incredibly flat. Here is an example from my most recent stream, on Friday:

I can't tell if this is a capture card issue, or if OBS isn't transmitting high quality audio. I've messed around through every setting in OBS that I can think of, anything that might make a difference, and nothing has. Nothing in the output or audio sections changes the quality of the audio for my stream, so far as I can tell, though I'd love to be proven wrong at this point.
