Bug Report Point scaling not working properly

Right, so I've come across an issue with point scaling in OBS. It doesn't seem to retain pixel perfect scaling when using an integer. Here's an example of what I mean:

The left image is taken from my PEXHDCAP from the SNES's original 256x224 resolution, and then scaled in OBS, using "Point" scaling, up to 1024x896.
The right image is the same 256x224 capture from my PEXHDCAP, but then scaled in Photoshop, using nearest neighbour.

As you can see, Photoshop retains the exact pixel information, as it should, but OBS isn't quite doing the job properly.

Any idea what is causing this? Is it a known issue?

Thanks.

Thanks for that. Although as you can see, my issue is not related to the chroma shift issue that the PEXHDCAP has. My issue is solely related to pixel scaling in OBS. It's just not scaling the image as crisp as Photoshop

Then try to import image screenshot (not 'Video Capture Device' source) to OBS and see the result.

ok so if I import a screenshot at native 256x224 resolution, and scale that, it looks perfect....

Doesn't make any sense. If OBS can scale a screenshot taken within OBS itself, why can't just scale the actual capture window...? they both look exactly the same at 256x224.......

In all honesty though, this is probably all a waste of time anyway, because OBS doesn't have the chroma shift feature.
