Question / Help Plz I’m desperate

I’ve been desperately trying to figure out how to stream game play on my MacBook Pro 2015. According to the requirements it should 100% work for me on the Elgato stream software but it refuses to let me stream from that. I’d preferably want to stream on OBS like I usually do but like most people have said the lag is unbearable. I’ve tried different ways to show it “window capture, etc.” but nothing works. I had the Elgato 60 HDS ? Any help with a game capture that I can use for Xbox one to my Mac would be so appreciated!! (Need something that won’t lag)

That Elgato device cannot be used with OBS on MacOS because Elgato does not provide a standard driver. You have to use their software. If you can, return it and get something else. The description that the HD60 works "with MacOS" and "works with OBS" neglects to point out that it does NOT work with "OBS on MacOS".

For some reason for me their software won’t even work for me either! It does nothing when I click stream and I’ve literally tried everything I’ve read online so I’m just trying to find one that works):

Elgato doesn't provide a Mac driver. Only their software will work. If you can return it, do it. That device is not a good match with MacOS, period.
