Question / Help Plugins not working after update?

I'm using the "advanced-scene-switcher" plugin and noticed that after the last update, it was gone. so i downloaded it again and tried to install it. but noticed that some folders changed in the OBS.app package. I dropped the plugin .so file in the plugin folder, unlike the instructions that told me to put in in resources/obs-plugins/ folder (which doesn't exist anymore).
But it doesn't show up in the menu in OBS.

What should i do? We go live three times a week. I have one day to fix this.....

It's not unusual for plugins to require a separate update after OBS updates. If you need that plugin you may need to downgrade OBS.

I'm not sure what you mean about the plugins folder not existing anymore-- that folder has not changed in 24.0.5 as far as I know.

Just attempted installation-- at least on Mojave and OBS 24.0.5, advanced switcher is not working.

According to the instructions on the advanced scene switcher page, i was supposed to copy the plugin .so file to /content/resources/obs-plugins/ . But that folder is not there anymore since the last update.

But anyway, thank you for your help, i will downgrade today to make it work again.

The folder path is slightly different, but the plugin still doesn't work-- probably needs an update to work with 24.0.5.

Indeed, though the post i got the plugin from is from 2016. Is it still being developed?

For now i downgraded to 24.0.2

It was last updated in October 2017, so possibly not.
