Plugin That Can Mute Audio When Commanded

Not sure if this is the correct place for this question, so I apologize in advance...

I wonder if there is a plug-in that could mute an audio source in OBS, when commanded by another program vie UDP or something? Im not the smartest here, so bare with me. Thanks guys and gals. I appreciate any help!

It's part of the WebSocket control that already exists:
